Zhejiang Qingyuan Industrial Park
Zhejiang Qingyuan Industrial Park was established in June 2003. In September 2006, the National Development and Reform Commission and three ministries and commissions approved it as a provincial-level development zone.
It is located in Lishui's Qingyuan county, and is 664 kilometers from Shanghai, 426 km from Hangzhou, 490 km from Ningbo, and 275 km from Wenzhou.
With a planned area of 30 square kilometers, the park has developed many industrial functional blocks. The Pingdu new area, which is under construction at present, is a comprehensive area integrating commerce, trade, residence, education, logistics and markets with a focus on the development of modern manufacturing.
There are 70 enterprises in the park, seven of which have been dubbed well-known trademarks in China. The park has formed four leading industries: bamboo and wood products, auto and motorcycle parts, green food processing, and cultural and educational products manufacturing.
The annual industrial output value of enterprises above the designated scale (annual main business income of over 20 million yuan [$2.9 million]) in 2018 in Qingyuan Industrial Park was 3.84 billion yuan, up 11.4 percent year-on-year.
In terms of fixed assets investment, total annual investment reached 682.7 million yuan with a year-on-year growth of 78.9 percent in 2018. The total export volume of enterprises in the park reached $129.81 million, with a year-on-year growth of 23.1 percent, and the total tax revenue of enterprises in the park reached 213.47 million yuan, a year-on-year growth of 12.2 percent.
