The 6th "International Maker" Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition in Zhejiang Province concluded on Dec 2 in Yiwu, a county-level city in Jinhua, with one gold, three silver, six bronze, and 15 excellence award-winning projects, all of which demonstrate significant technological content and market potential, promising new growth for Yiwu's industrial upgrade.

Yu Yinhua, an entrepreneur from Macao, led two standout projects, including one named Lotus Doctor. "Lotus is the city flower of Macao," explained Yu. "The project is an online medical consultation platform aimed at the global Chinese community, starting from Macao and cooperating with the mainland."

At present, Yu and her team have gathered 35 doctors and will continue to expand to provide online medical services for more Chinese users.

Since applications began at the end of September, the competition has received 259 projects from 61 countries and regions, spanning sectors such as the internet economy, artificial intelligence, cross-border e-commerce, rural vitalization, and biomedicine.

Since its first edition in 2019, the competition has attracted nearly 6,000 participants and over 1,500 projects, becoming an influential event. This year's event, themed "Realizing Common Prosperity in Zhejiang, Creating a Bright Future with Intelligence in Yiwu", provided a platform for global entrepreneurs to showcase their talent and connect with resources.
