Yiwu to add new flights this summer
The Yiwu Airport will implement a new flight schedule for the summer season on March 26, according to local media reports.
The airport will add 30 new flights and 32 new destinations.
From January to February, traffic at the Yiwu Airport increased by 56.4 percent year-on-year, indicating a recovery in air travel.
During the summer flight season this year, the Yiwu-Chongqing route will be extended to Korla in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. The extended part of the flight will run three times a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday).

There are many natural attractions near Korla, including Bosten Lake, Bayanbulak Grassland, the world-famous Lop Nur, and the beautiful Tarim River.
In addition, flights from Yiwu to Guangzhou, Daxing in Beijing, Chengdu, Guiyang, Yinchuan and Zhuhai will be expanded.
There will be six flights from Yiwu to Guangzhou every day.
The Yiwu-Guiyang route will be increased to 11 flights per week, the Yiwu-Chengdu route will be increased to 11 flights per week, and the Yiwu-Beijing Daxing route will be increased to one flight per day.
The Yiwu Airport will also restore flights to Hong Kong and Southeast Asia, and introduce new routes according to market demand in central Zhejiang.
