Chinagoods, an e-commerce platform launched by Yiwu-based Zhejiang China Commodities City Group, will become one of the first ecological partners of Ernie Bot, an AI chatbot project developed by Baidu Inc.

Baidu's Ernie Bot is a ChatGPT-like AI service, which is expected to be launched to the public on March 16 after internal testing.

Boasting advanced conversational capabilities, ChatGPT is able to mimic humanlike responses with AI-generated content that can assist people with tasks such as writing essays and scripts.

With over a decade of experience in the field of artificial intelligence, Baidu has developed Ernie Bot, a cross-modal and cross-lingual deep semantic understanding and generation engine, which has broad applications in search and answer, content creation and generation, and intelligent office systems.

Chinagoods will integrate Ernie Bot and work closely with Baidu on product development and standard setting. The two companies will create joint solutions that will enhance their competitiveness in the AI market.
