Yiwu to host annual trade fair on cultural and tourism products

The 17th Yiwu Cultural and Tourism Product Trade Fair is scheduled to run from March 31 to April 2 at the Yiwu International Expo Center, according to a promotional event held in Shanghai on Feb 28.

Sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the Zhejiang Provincial Government, the trade fair will cover an area of 60,000 square meters with 3,000 exhibition booths, which have already been fully booked.

The total number of exhibition booths booked by merchants and service providers is 12 percent higher than the initial target. Among the products submitted by enterprises, 85 percent are related to innovative cultural and tourism integration.

The trade fair will include eight pavilions of different themes, such as "Beautiful China", leisure, digital trade, cultural tourism, e-sports and animation. The fair will also host 10 supporting events.

This year's fair aims to showcase the achievements and development trends of the creative economy, digital economy, service trade, and intelligent manufacturing in the field of culture and tourism. It is expected to showcase emerging cultural and tourism products and services to promote integrated development.
