Two towns in Yiwu - Yiting town and Chi'an town - were recently listed as 2022 Zhejiang Provincial Garden Towns, following Fotang town, Shangxi town, Suxi town and Dachen town in earlier years.

This means that all six towns in Yiwu have now been awarded the provincial-level Garden Town title, making Yiwu the first city in Jinhua to achieve this.

After years of development, Yiwu's towns now boast beautiful landscapes, booming industries, good living environments and strong government services. Each town in Yiwu was named a provincial garden town for its own unique strengths, according to officials.

Chi'an town is located in the north of Yiwu. Known as "Pu Xu" in ancient times, it is an ancient town with a cultural history of more than 2,000 years. The town has many intact ancient streets, shops and residences in the style of the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties. It is also home to three national cultural relics under protection.

In 2022, Yiwu built a batch of distinctive parks, including Danxi Park, Liantang Park, Rose Garden, and Dongtang Park, and completed various green space construction projects, including one along Datong Road, aiming to further enhance the city's park greening facilities and create an atmosphere to welcome the upcoming Asian Games.
