Yiwu cooperates with Baidu's online B2B platform

The online B2B (business-to-business) platform of internet giant Baidu Group and Yiwu China Commodity City co-hosted a forum on Feb 12 to empower small- and medium-sized enterprises with technology for high-quality growth and create a new engine of development for the intelligent procurement ecosystem.
In November 2022, Baidu's online B2B platform agreed to cooperate with Yiwu China Commodity City, aiming to bring a more intelligent, accurate, and efficient procurement and sales experience to small and medium-sized enterprises in the AI era.
Gong Chenghao, deputy general manager of Zhejiang China Small Commodities City Group Co, said that the cooperation was aimed at building a smarter procurement and sales communication platform for the city's 75,000 physical stores and 2 million small and micro-enterprises in the upstream part of the industrial chain.
Baidu's online B2B platform being operating in the Yiwu International Trade Market on Feb 13 to provide face-to-face digital marketing services to local merchants.
The platform, working as a one-stop procurement and sales platform under Baidu, can help merchants and buyers carry out matchmaking based on technologies such as AI, big data, and cloud computing. Relying on Baidu's search capabilities, the platform responds to over 28 million daily requests to find suppliers or factories every day.
