A business delegation including over 20 local enterprises in Yiwu, East China's Zhejiang province, took part in a trade fair in the United Kingdom on Feb 5-8.

Their products were exhibited and promoted at the Spring Fair Birmingham – one of four major global consumer goods exhibitions and the UK's most vibrant marketplace for wholesale home, gift and fashion items.

Jiang Guoyong, director of Yiwu Baolong Packing Technology Co, said the company has invited their customs from Germany, the UK, and France to meet and communicate at the fair.

Jiang said his company has received about 100 buyers every day at the fair. The company also signed various deals on over 400 new products developed independently.

Huahong Art Home Shares Co, an enterprise in Yiwu mainly engaged in the design, production and sale of decorative paintings, mirror frames and photo frames, participated in the fair for the first time in three years. According to the company's director, as it is one of the world's largest manufacturing and export bases for decorative paintings and mirror photo frames, they have had a strong desire to go overseas and look for business opportunities in the global market.
