Yiwu in East China's Zhejiang province organized a chartered bus on Jan 27 to transport migrant workers back to the city from their hometown Longxi county in Northwest China's Gansu province.

It was the first chartered bus in Zhejiang this year to pick up migrant workers and 50 new workers were brought back for Jinko Solar Co Ltd in Yiwu.

After learning about Yiwu's well-paid jobs, working conditions, and local authorities' efficient services from fellow villagers, these people decided to find a job in the city.

To ensure that local businesses had enough workers after the holiday, the Yiwu human resources and social security bureau cooperated with its 176 recruitment offices around the country to recruit workers for local enterprises starting on Jan 9.

The bureau also plans to send charted buses, trains, and airplanes to bring these new workers to Yiwu.

From Jan 22 to 25, the bureau held six recruitment livestreams, which drew 150,000 views and provided consultations for over 1,500 viewers.

Yiwu authorities will continue making efforts to recruit workers and attract talents for local businesses by organizing job fairs both online and onsite.
