Yiwu villages develop with help of forests

Dafan village, Dachen town in Yiwu was recently listed as a provincial modern forestry economic demonstration zone by the Zhejiang Provincial Forestry Department.
Dafan village, located at the northernmost tip of Yiwu, is surrounded by mountains, rivers and countryside. In an effort to develop rural tourism, the village has built a bamboo park and a number of high-end homestays to attract visitors.
In addition, the Zhejiang Qiyin Da'an Town was listed as a provincial forest oxygen bar and is recommended as a good place to breathe in fresh air and boost one's health.

Zhejiang Qiyin Da'an Town is located in Yangpen village, Chi'an town, Yiwu. It stands in the middle of Dahan Mountain, the highest peak in Yiwu. The development of the town focused on the protection of natural resources – it mostly uses natural materials such as bamboo and stone to repair and construct natural villages and preserve its simple and elegant style.
Visitors are able to admire landscapes and breathe in fresh air at Da'an Square (the central area of the town), rest at fine homestays, and learn about the local culture and planting at special areas.
Yiwu is now home to seven provincial modern forestry economic demonstration zones and six provincial forest oxygen bars.
