Construction concluded on the Yiwu Cross-Border e-Commerce Industrial Park on Dec 17, according to local media outlets.

The industrial park cost about 10 billion yuan ($1.44 billion) and covers about 850 mu (56.67 hectares) with a total construction area of about 1.62 million square meters.

It is located in the core area of the Yiwu Free Trade Zone and surrounded by the Yiwu Comprehensive Bonded District, Yunyi Logistics Town and the industrial functional zone in western Yiwu.

The park will feature e-commerce office buildings, talent apartments and supporting businesses, cross-border e-commerce companies and platforms, and enterprises providing supporting services.

The first phase of the park, covering about 172 mu and costing 2.5 billion yuan, is made up of nine office buildings, four apartments and one commercial street.
