Taizhou in East China's Zhejiang province showcased its pharmaceutical industry on Nov 20 at the 11th Bavaria China Day, an exhibition in Ingolstadt, Germany, themed around life science cooperation.
Huahai Pharmaceutical, a Taizhou representative enterprise, participated in a roundtable discussion on international collaboration, where representatives discussed how the company builds business trust and manages cultural differences in global operations. They also encouraged closer cooperation between Chinese and German partners in the development, production, and market expansion of generic and innovative medicines.
Taizhou's booth engaged visiting European pharmaceutical companies through visual displays, data presentations, and onsite consultations. Exhibitors introduced the city's industrial layout, manufacturing strengths, and development potential as a national-level base for active pharmaceutical ingredients. Many European participants showed strong interest in supply chain cooperation, helping raise Taizhou's visibility.
The event created a dual platform for enterprise dialogue and targeted city promotion, linking Taizhou's pharmaceutical sector with international markets. The participation of Huahai Pharmaceutical and other local enterprises helped broaden cooperation channels and supported Taizhou's efforts to further integrate with the global biopharmaceutical industry.
