Over the past decade, Quzhou in Zhejiang province has made significant strides in establishing cultural auditoriums, with 1,430 cultural venues now in place, according to authorities.

These cultural venues are playing an increasingly significant role in providing diverse public cultural services, including the preservation and promotion of fine traditional culture, enrichment of residents' spiritual lives, and enhancement of people's overall sense of happiness, noted a local official.

In the last two years alone, more than 68,000 cultural events, ranging from galas and art performances to sports competitions and painting exhibitions, have taken place across these cultural auditoriums, benefitting more than 1.1 million residents.

Authorities have also initiated programs at these cultural venues aimed at caring for left-behind children and elderly individuals living alone.
