The 7th World Zhejiang Entrepreneurs Convention — a grand gathering for Zhejiang entrepreneurs worldwide — opened in Hangzhou on Nov 28.
The convention included a recognition ceremony for Zhejiang companies featured in the "2024 List of China's Top 500 Private Enterprises". Additionally, it promoted exemplary businesses and released case studies on improving the business environment to support Zhejiang entrepreneurs.
This year's convention set records, attracting 224 projects with a total investment of 385.7 billion yuan, the highest in the event's history. Key areas of investment include integrated circuits, advanced manufacturing, green petrochemicals, automotive components, cross-border e-commerce, biopharmaceuticals, and new energy technologies.
A standout feature was private sector involvement in large-scale infrastructure projects, signaling Zhejiang's commitment to opening competitive industries to diverse market players and providing new opportunities for private businesses to thrive.
