A recruitment drive offering jobs at State-owned enterprises (SOEs) to college graduates was held over the weekend in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province.

More than 2,200 jobs in the information, environmental protection, health, tourism, culture, finance, and chemical sectors were up for grabs.

Nearly 150 SOEs, including Wuchan Zhongda Group, Provincial Construction Group, China Resources Group and SINOMACH, participated in the job fair. A total of 6,030 graduates, including 131 doctoral and 2,044 master's graduates, attended the fair, with 1,153 of them securing employment intent letters with the companies.

SOEs in Zhejiang have been expanding employment channels for college graduates through online recruitment and college-enterprise cooperation. SOEs have also been encouraged to create more jobs and provide employment opportunities for college graduates.
