Liang Xiaofei, a Russian international student living in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province, recorded a song named Fall In Love with a City Called Zhoushan to congratulate the city on obtaining the title of National Civilized City in 2020, local media reported.

The song was written by Liu Chaojie and composed by Wang Zixuan, both of whom are teachers at ZJOU.

Speaking of the song's creation, Liu said that in July and August, when Zhoushan was undergoing evaluation for the National Civilized City title, many international students at ZJOU put on red waistcoats – volunteer costumes – to help keep the road orderly and pedestrians safe.

Inspired by this, Liu decided to write a song to express the love shown by international students for Zhoushan.

Because Liang has been in Zhoushan for so long and has a good voice, he was invited to sing the song on behalf of the international students in the city.
