The China Mural Art Exhibition, themed on "The Pursuit of Profundity", was launched at the Zhejiang Art Museum in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, on Nov 10 and will last until Nov 24.

On display are more than 60 stunning murals from across the country.

A highlight of the exhibition is the use of digital technologies to preserve and promote traditional Chinese murals and statues. Visitors have expressed amazement at the debut of a 3D-printed replica of the colored sculpture of Guan Yu at Tiefo Temple and a digital duplication of a millennium-old Buddhism-themed mural at Kaihua Temple. Both temples are located in North China's Shanxi province.
