In commemoration of the 19th CPC National Congress that opened on Oct 18, China Post issued a set of stamps on which an image of Hangzhou International Expo Center can be found.

The main two-stamp set depicts the history of the Communist Party of China with images of the Monument to the People's Heroes and a C919 passenger jet, two symbols of recent national achievements.

Another set, a smaller sheet themed "Building dreams", depicts Tian'anmen Square, Chinese ornamental columns, the Great Wall, Shanghai Tower, Jinmao Tower, Shenzhen Ping'An Finance Center and Hangzhou's exposition center.

Stamp designer Ma Lihang said that the G20 Hangzhou Summit amazed a global audience and marked a huge step for China's international renown. For what he called its great significance and profound influence, Ma chose to depict the summit's main venue on the commemorative China Post stamp.
