Ningxia displayed its latest advancements in integrating culture and tourism at the 15th Cross-Strait (Xiamen) Cultural Industries Fair in Xiamen, Fujian province, from Oct 31 to Nov 3.
The 200-square-meter Ningxia pavilion highlighted themes such as "Travel with Performances", "Travel with Sports Events", and "Travel with Films", reflecting the region's innovative approach to cultural tourism.
Over 20 cultural and tourism enterprises from Ningxia displayed nearly 1,000 items that epitomize the region's rich cultural heritage. These included exquisite Helan stone carvings, Yellow River sand art, handcrafted leather goods, Northwest embroidery, traditional paper cutting, and ancient Ningxia ceramics.

Signature Ningxia products such as wines, goji berries, and eight-treasure tea garnered significant attention.
The Ningxia pavilion was infused with cutting-edge technology, creating an immersive "culture + technology" experience. The VR immersive program "The Mysterious Western Xia Tombs” was a standout feature, offering a novel way to experience traditional culture.
The fair served as a crucial platform for cultural industry development and exchange. A local official noted that officials and exhibitors from provinces such as Fujian and Guizhou visited the Ningxia pavilion, fostering deeper collaborations and expanding opportunities for industry cooperation.
During the event, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Ningxia hosted a special matchmaking session for Xiamen's cultural and tourism industry projects. Several high-impact investment projects were introduced, with project leaders presenting key initiatives and signing four cooperation agreements.
Since its inception in 2008, the fair has become a significant window for showcasing China's image and a vital platform for international cooperation.
