Longde county in Guyuan, Ningxia, hosted the 4th Liupan Mountain Cycling Invitational on Oct 7.

The event attracted over 400 cycling enthusiasts from Ningxia, Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, and other regions, with a course covering 22.8 kilometers.

The event is part of Longde's ongoing efforts to promote rural vitalization and develop wellness and ecological tourism by tapping into its unique natural resources. 

In recent years, the county has organized various events to boost the tourism sector, including fishing competitions, cross-country cycling races, basketball tournaments, cycling tours, and fitness runs.
