Western Xia Museum in Ningxia

The new Western Xia Museum is a thematic museum showcasing the history and culture of the Western Xia Dynasty (1038-1227) with the Western Xia Mausoleum as its backdrop. 

The museum covers 9,000 square meters and has a grand architectural design connected to the towering Helan Mountain. It includes eight main exhibitions covering various aspects such as the history, socio-economics, and protection of Western Xia Dynasty culture, as well as overseas collections and research achievements.

The museum displays over 2,000 artifacts and academic research on the Western Xia Dynasty, including famous cultural relics like carved dragon columns, glass owl mouths, inscriptions, and Buddhist scriptures. Various display methods are used to present the past glory of the Western Xia Dynasty.

The museum's porcelain collection is diverse in shape and type, and includes bottles, pots, bowls, plates, and more, categorized by such glaze colors as white, green, black, and brown.

In addition to written language, the museum incorporates multimedia exhibition design, scene arrangement, and art design for a more vivid and immersive experience.
