The 14th National Winter Games is scheduled to be held in Inner Mongolia from Feb 17 to 27. Various events including ice hockey and figure skating will commence in the Hailar and Zhalantun competition areas.
To facilitate the transportation of athletes, referees, and a large number of spectators between the two areas, Genghis Khan Airlines and Inner Mongolia Civil Airports Group have jointly established an air traffic corridor between the two areas.
In addition to the existing air routes, such as Hohhot-Tongliao-Hailar, Hohhot-Xiliinhot-Hailar, and Hohhot-Chifeng-Zhalantun, the special Hailar-Zhalantun-Hohhot route will be opened from Feb 16 to Feb 27 to ensure smooth transportation during the grand event.
