Elements of '14th National Winter Games' shine in Beijing

Elements from the upcoming 14th National Winter Games are already lighting up Beijing, with the slogans and promotional images from the annual sporting showcase making their marks in the capital's railway stations and exhibition centers.

The 14th National Winter Games, hosted by the General Administration of Sport of China and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Government, will take place in Inner Mongolia from Feb 17 to 27, 2024.

As a crucial transportation hub for the 14th National Winter Games, Beijing Chaoyang Station has become the preferred route for athletes from all over the country to travel to the Harqin competition zone. The various "14th Winter Games" elements in the station create a visually stunning experience for visitors.

Inside the station's main hall, the slogan "Ignite the passion for ice and snow, soar your Chinese dreams" is combined with dynamic promotional images of people skiing displayed on a giant LED screen.

Interestingly, a similarly themed LED screen is hung horizontally at the top of the waiting hall, ensuring passengers can easily spot it when they look up.

"I never imagined that the National Winter Games would be so close to me. I'll definitely experience the charm of ice and snow sports on-site, just 80 days from now," exclaimed Xue Yiwei, a resident of Chaoyang city in Liaoning province, who was deeply touched by the "14th Winter Games"-themed LED screen while he waited for his train.

At the Beijing Exhibition Center, a promotional and project signing event dubbed "Chifeng Good Products Entering Beijing" was in full swing.

At the Karqin exhibition area, an eye-catching arched gate with elements from the 14th National Winter Games stands out. This gate is a fusion of the picturesque Karqin competition zone and Chifeng Meilin Valley Ski Resort, presenting a bright, unique and aesthetically pleasing design that fully reflects the regional charm of the competition area.
