Tonglu county in East China's Zhejiang province has recent years made sustained efforts to spruce up its urban and rural landscapes to achieve an integrated tourism development pattern.

Houxi village in the county's Hecun township recently made the list of the Gold 3A Scenic Spots in Zhejiang, a testament to the campaign's success.
