The Hangzhou branch of the State Grid has been testing out digital upgrading of power supply stations as part of its broader push to improve services.
The power supply station in Hengcun village in Tonglu county is among the first power supply stations to be digitally upgraded in Hangzhou.
A digital management platform has been launched at the power station to monitor its operations, including equipment, vehicles and employees, in real time.
In addition, it is used to assess employee performance in ensuring the stable supply of electricity in the area assigned to them, which will be used to determine their salary.
