Equestrian-themed patterns on a vast stretch of terraced fields in Tonglu county, East China's Zhejiang province recently emerged as a new attraction in the county, local media reported.
The patterns in Longxi village, Zhongshan township, feature three athletes in red, purple and yellow uniforms riding on white horses as they jump over the logo of the 19th Asian Games.
They were created by growing different colors of rapeseed flowers on wheat fields.
The patterns come as part of efforts by local authorities to boost tourism and welcome the Asian Games, which are slated to be held in Hangzhou this September.
Tonglu, which is administered by Hangzhou, is set to host the equestrian events of the Games.
