Peach blossoms captivate tourists

Peach trees in Yangshanfan village, Hengcun town, Tonglu county, Zhejiang province recently entered their peak flowering period, attracting many visitors.
One visitor surnamed Ye said that the peach blossoms spreading across the mountain were so beautiful she couldn't help but dance with joy.
Peaches have made Yangshanfan a hit tourism destination in the springtime. Tourism facilities such as homestays and restaurants have been established in the village to cater to increased tourism demand.
Yangshanfan started growing peaches in 2010 under the leadership of Bao Hongdi, the village's Party chief.
There is currently 2,600 mu (173.33 hectares) of peach trees in the village, yielding an average of 2,000 metric tons of peaches annually. The entire peach industry in Yangshanfan is valued at 16 million yuan ($2.46 million).
