Tonglu county in East China's Zhejiang province has launched a digital platform to improve the efficiency of administrative law enforcement.
According to Wang Yong, deputy head of the information command section at the Tonglu bureau of comprehensive administrative law enforcement, the platform will reduce the time required to deal with general incidents from five working days to 24 hours.
For urgent cases, the platform will dispatch officers located nearest to the incident, ensuring that they reach the site within 15 minutes. The most recent example of this was an illegal garbage burning incident which occurred in Tonglu a few days ago.
The platform has not only enhanced administrative law enforcement efficiency but also effectively raised standardization of processes.
The public can even supervise the administrative law enforcement process online, provide feedback and lodge complaints via the platform, according to Wang.
