China's star eventing rider Alex Hua Tian visited the Tonglu Equestrian Center, the venue for the equestrian events of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, in Tonglu county, Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province on Nov 19.
The Tonglu Equestrian Center broke ground in Yaolin town in September last year and finished construction two months ago as scheduled.
Hua also recorded a short video to greet the upcoming Asian Games and met with a delegation consisting of the venue's builders, student representatives, and volunteers.
The equestrian star lavished praises on Tonglu and its preparations for the Asian Games' equestrian events.
"Tonglu has a beautiful landscape, and I think it is the most beautiful county in China. The Tonglu Equestrian Center is one of the best venues I have ever seen," he said.
During the visit, he also shared his experiences from participating in various competitions.
Hua, who became the world's youngest Olympic eventer at the 2008 Beijing Games, finished eighth at the Rio Olympics in 2016 and claimed the bronze medal at the Jakarta Asian Games in 2018.
