National express, logistics contest staged in Tonglu

The final of the third China Express and Logistics Innovation and Venture Contest was staged in Tonglu county, East China's Zhejiang province on Nov 15.

The contest aimed to attract venture projects and premium talents in the express and logistics sectors to Tonglu, which is renowned in China as the birthplace of the founders of domestic express giants like STO Express, YTO Express, ZTO Express and Yunda Express.

Following the contest's preliminary and intermediate rounds, 12 projects made it to the final.

The winners of the final were decided by a jury composed of representatives from domestic courier giants and professional investment agencies. Mamba Intelligent Technology (Suzhou) Co Ltd, Chushan (Shenzhen) New Energy Technology Co Ltd and Benewake (Beijing) Co Ltd won the top three prizes.

The contest entries showcased how cutting-edge technologies including robotics, 5G and Internet of Things are going to reshape the express delivery industry.

Universities including Zhejiang University, Zhejiang University of Technology and Hangzhou Dianzi University also released their latest scientific and technological achievements in the express and logistics sectors on the sidelines of the event.
