The 25th China (Guzhen) International Lighting Fair ends in success

On October 26, 2020, the 25th China (Guzhen) International Lighting Fair (GILF), hosted by Guzhen Lighting Expo Co., Ltd, ended in success. Hot spots and requirements throughout the year were interpreted at the GILF. The fair, with a theme of "Guzhen Lights up the World" was held on a 1500,000 sqm site and displayed online simultaneously via GILF's B2B platform, Denggle.com.

By its conclusion at 14:00 on October 26, this exhibition had seen a total of 37,817 professional visitors, including 389 overseas visitors presented at the fair despite the pandemic. The "Hosted Buyer Program Go Online" has attracted nearly 40,000 overseas visitors to view through cloud.

2,500 lighting enterprises from 8 venues were gathered

The main venue Guzhen Convention and Exhibition Center accommodated the whole lighting industry chain including household intelligent lighting, decorative lights, commercial lighting, outdoor lighting, special lamp, machine, lighting auxiliaries and other categories, drawing a total of 845 brands.

The 7 sub-venues (Lihe Lighting Expo Center, Huayi Plaza, Star Alliance, Lighting Era Plaza, Besun Plaza, Huayu Plaza, Streetlight City) organized events along with hundreds of brands.

During the fair, face recognition for entry, real-time monitoring of visitor flow, on-site temperature detection and health code tracking and other new technological applications were adopted for buyers to enter.

The mode of intelligence + originality represented the new trend

Original design, smart home, intelligent light poles, linear magnets, new energy lights and education lighting were the general highlights at the fair.

Many smart brands established cross-border alliances with platforms such as Alibaba Cloud, JD Cloud, and Huawei to enter the field of smart home. Some exhibitors applied technologies of smart cities+new infrastructures and 5G for commercial use.

The sales of ultraviolet germicidal lamps have surged due to the pandemic.

At the same time, education lighting, office lighting, health lighting, skincare lamps, beauty lamps, landscape lighting, explosion-proof lights, stage lights, fire emergency systems, waterproof, dustproof floodlights, outdoor solar lights, projection lights, laser lights, ultra-high-speed placement machines and laser cutting equipment were spotted onsite.

Seamless Online and Offline Connections between Exhibitors and Buyers

To relieve the impacts of the COVID-19 epidemic, the Hosted Buyer Program Go Online was held by the fair to present an exhibition trio: factory show, on-site booth, and EZBUY of B2B website-Denggle.com.

The Hosted Buyer Program Go Online attracted nearly 40,000 overseas followers.

Forum Offers Useful Insights and Suggestions for the Industry

During the fair, forums and seminars were held continuously, including "Intelligent Light Pole Industry Development Forum", "2020 Lighting Industry Product Category Salon 'Smart Home, Smart Future'", the "Intelligent Agricultural Lighting Innovation Forum", and online lectures on "Research and Prospects of Horticulture Lighting Strategies", "Smart Transportation and Smart Light Pole", "5G+ Era and Smart City New Life" etc.

Depending on the origin of lighting products and facilitating high-quality development of the industry, the 25th GILF came to an end successfully.
