The county has more than 50,000 cashmere carding machines, about 140 spinning production lines and more than 10,000 computerized flat knitting machines, forming a complete industrial chain from carding, slitting, spinning, sweater weaving, weaving, garment making to sales. It is the largest cashmere raw material processing and distribution center, the largest cashmere spinning base and the important cashmere products production and marketing base in China.

Second, it has a good product reputation. With more than 4,000 cashmere clothing brands, it is the county owning the highest density of cashmere brands in China, and with 4 well-known trademarks in China and 53 "Chinese clothing growing brands", Qinghe cashmere is recognized as the "national geographical indication trademark". It is also an OEM base for international and domestic famous brands. LV, Hermes, MAXMARA and other world luxury and jewelry brands have close cooperation with Qinghe enterprises.

Third, e-commerce is developing rapidly. Qinghe model of "special market + e-commerce" has been recognized as one of the three major agricultural e-commerce developing models in China. With more than 35,000 online stores in the county, and an annual sales volume of more than 8 billion yuan, Qinghe has been ranked second in the "top ten counties with the highest retail e-commerce density" for four consecutive years, and has been awarded the title of "top 100 counties of e-commerce in China" for five consecutive years.

Facing the new pattern of industrial chain reconstruction and business model adjustment, Qinghe has determined its direction and ideas of industrial transformation: Catching up with fashion, it will focus on both industry and market, striving to build China's largest cashmere chain industrial cluster and China's cashmere fashion center  by original design, intelligent manufacturing, all-seasons products and diversified channels.

In order to achieve the above goals, Qinghe focuses on four aspects of work.

First, pay close attention to industrial design. We will build a cashmere original design exhibition center, signed contracts with China's top ten fashion designer Lin Zihan, “knitting queen” pan Yiliang and other well-known designers in the industry. According to the characteristics of each brand, we have developed a series of cashmere clothing of modern fashion level, committed to building a highland of national cashmere clothing design  and improving the original design level of Qinghe cashmere clothing.

Secondly, pay close attention to intelligent transformation. New supporting policies shall be formulated to guide enterprises to carry out "equipment revolution" with 60 sets of first-line molding intelligent equipment introduced already. At the same time, we will accelerate the construction of cashmere intelligent factory and digital workshop, promote flexible weaving and personalized customization , and  improve supply chain coordination and rapid response ability.

Thirdly, pay close attention to scientific and technological innovation. Working towards the standard, cooperating with China Animal Products Circulation Association, we will make efforts to make the formulation of national standards for cashmere, further enhancing the competitiveness and influence of Qinghe cashmere. Meanwhile, we will increase the research and development of cashmere and cotton, hemp, silk and other fiber blended products, develop short sleeves, T-Shirts, vests, dresses and other  products for spring and summer, and promote the industry from a single warm products to all seasons.

Last, actively develop new formats. With the direction of "industry + market + tourism", it will accelerate the transformation and upgrading of cashmere town, aiming at building an industrial development platform integrating intelligent manufacturing, e-commerce, tourism and leisure, innovation and entrepreneurship. On the other hand, we will further deepen cooperation with Alibaba, Pinduoduo and other platforms to build industrial belt and expand the network sales channels for enterprises.
