Suning is a county located in the middle of Hebei Province. It is subordinate to Cangzhou City, with a total population of 370,000 and a total area of 525 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 9 townships and 254 administrative villages.

The fur and clothing industry in Suning is mainly built based on the fur clothing and knitwear industry. Suning has the largest raw leather trading market in China, with an annual turnover of 180 million pieces of leather, accounting for 70% of the national trading volume. Based on the industrial development foundation, Suning has actively cooperated with Shen Yongfang, President of Shenzhen Garment Industry Association, and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Institute, and completed “the top-level design and strategic planning of Suning "fur + clothing" regional brand”. At the same time, according to the development idea of "project concentration, industrial agglomeration, land’s intensive use ", a fur industrial park and a knitwear industrial park are planned. At present, the Huasi fur industrial park with an investment of 2 billion yuan and the knitting and knitwear exhibition and marketing center with an investment of 1 billion yuan have been completed and put into operation, and 668 shops and exhibition halls have been settled in.

Second, persist in strong support for the "fur plus clothing" industry with project leading

Since 2013, the global fur industry has been in a downturn. Since the fur industry is the leading and enriching industry in Suning, the biggest problem facing the government is how to help enterprises tide over the difficulties. Facing the unfavorable situation, Suning aimed at the future demand, and successively introduced three projects with a total investment of 9 billion yuan, namely, Feihu fashion industry city, fashion town and Gangning knitwear science and Technology Industrial Park, to create a diversified industrial development platform, and realize the transformation from "fur city" to "fashion city", and from "knitwear city" to "fashion city".

Implement the strategy of creating brands to increase the vitality of “fur plus clothing ”industry

Suning has formulated a series of supporting policies for brand creation and cultivation, focusing on creating a number of well-known brands with independent intellectual property rights and market competitiveness. Since 2018, 3 brands have been awarded the title of "top 10 clothing brands in Hebei Province", and 2 designers have been awarded the title of "top 10 fashion designers in Hebei Province". At present, the county's clothing industry owns 3 China well-known trade marks , 1 China top brand product, 10 provincial famous trademarks and 8 provincial top brand products.

It is worth mentioning that Suning has mainly introduced Hong Kong Hongxin group, a leading enterprise in the industry, and has introduced the operation headquarters of several international famous brands such as "Kangaroo", "Playboy" and "Pierre Cardin" to Suning. At the same time, the county plans to introduce "North China branch of Chuang Chuang Business School", and sign settlement agreements with more than 30 leading enterprises in the industry, such as Hongfang culture and Anzheng group, striving to build the largest clothing training center and cluster center of leading enterprises in northern China.

Fourth,use e-commerce empowerment to expand the market for "fur plus clothing" industry

In recent years, the e-commerce industry in Suning has developed rapidly. It has been successively rated as "top 10 cases of e-commerce promoting rural revitalization", "comprehensive demonstration county of e-commerce in rural areas" and "national digital village pilot", and is expected to become the first "All-Around Taobao town". There are more than 21,000 online stores registered on the e-commerce platform in Suning, with annual sales of more than 10 billion and more than 30,000 e-commerce employees.

The offline sales of clothing industry was seriously affected by COVID-19 epidemic this year. However, Suning insists on seeking opportunities in crisis, and actively helps enterprises expand online sales channels by taking advantage of e-commerce. So far, there are more than 5,500 online clothing products stores in Suning, with online sales accounting for 80% of the total sales volume. Suning owns 3 of the top 10 knitwear sales on Ali platform.

The 8th China Taobao village Summit , the most influential event in the field of e-commerce in rural area, will be held in Suning County from September 25 to 27. Suning County will also become the first place to hold the summit in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Urban Agglomeration and even the central and western regions.The Taobao summit will further deepen the strategic cooperation between Hebei provincial Party committee and government and Alibaba group, and will greatly promote the development of e-commerce industry in the whole province.
