First, the radiation ability is strong. Pingxiang bicycle industry has developed from scratch in 40 years. At present, there are 4,800 bicycle and children's bicycle enterprises of all kinds, employing around 100,000 people. It has gradually formed an economic belt with Hegumiao town as the center, along with Xingtai and Handan, Pingxiang, Guangzong, Qiuxian and Quzhou counties.

Second, the industrial scale is growing continually. Pingxiang has an annual output of 10 million bicycles, with an assembly capacity of 15 million bicycles, 60 million baby carriages and toys, and 60 million intelligent electric baby carriages. Among them,the output of baby carriages and children's toys accounts for 70% of the domestic market and 50% of the international market. Nearly 20,000 bicycles and baby carriages are loaded from Pingxiang and sent to all parts of the world every hour. Pingxianghas been rated as "the capital of China's baby carriage" and "the city of intelligent electric toys of China's national industry".

Third, the number of leading enterprises is increasing. In recent years, Pingxiang has vigorously implemented the "leading import" plan, and has successively introduced a number of industry leading enterprises such as Good Baby, "the world's first baby and child products" and Fujida, "the world's largest bicycle production". At the same time, we have actively cultivated local enterprises and emerged a number of leading enterprises with strong R&D capability, high manufacturing level and excellent product quality, such as Xingjiu, Hengchi and Sixing.

Promote innovation, improve the platform, and the industry is moving towards high-end.

With innovation as a support, Pingxiang county has made every effort to enhance the industrial grade and product quality.

Firstly, it has created a number of innovation platforms. At present, Pingxiang county has a provincial high-tech Development Zone, including a bicycle Research Institute, a National Bicycle inspection institution, two provincial academician workstations, two engineering laboratories and four provincial enterprise technology centers.

Second, it has strengthened a number of scientific and technological support. Pingxiang has established long-term strategic cooperation with Tongji University, Tianjin Bicycle Research Institute and other universities and scientific research institutes to promote the R&D and application of new materials and new functions of products. In 2015, Pingxiang was the only county of Hebei to be listed as the "national demonstration area for improving the quality of baby carriage products" by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China.

Third, a number of well-known brands have been created. At present, a total of 60 bicycle enterprises in the county have gained the ISO 9001 international quality system certification, 189 enterprises have applied for 3C certification, with two well-known trademarks in China, Good Baby and Xingjiu, 17 provincial famous trademarks, and 5,518 independent brands of bicycles, baby carriages and toys.

The chain is complete and constantly expanded to form a new industrial cluster of more than 10 billion yuan.

At present, Pingxiang can produce more than 120 kinds of bicycle and baby carriage parts except chain pullers. At the same time, taking the leading industry as the center, it has effectively promoted the development of three traditional industries and a number of emerging industries.In the traditional industry, there are 205 enterprises of various types in the mechanical casting industry, which can produce various products such as auto parts and high-precision molds, with an annual value of 1.5 billion yuan.Packaging and printing industry, with an annual output of more than 300 million high-quality printing and various cartons, consumes more than 200,000 tons of various paper and paperboard, and is the largest paper product production base in northern China. The plastic chemical industry, owning the largest R&D and production base of plastic granule masterbatch in China, created APP plastic masterbatch which is used nationally.

New industries have been developing and growing, forming a new industrial cluster of more than 10 billion yuan.E-commerce is booming. There are 100,000 relevant employees, and nearly 7000 stores are active in Taobao, JD and other large-scale e-commerce platforms, with an annual transaction volume of more than 8 billion yuan. There are 21 "Taobao villages " and 4 "Taobao towns" in Pingxiang. In 2016, it ranked first in the list of e-commerce wealth creation of poor counties in China, and sat in the top 12 of China's top 100 e-commerce demonstration counties in 2018. The exhibition economy is growing. Relying on the industry foundation of bicycles and baby carriages, it holds exhibitions at home. Since 2014, 12 international bicycle and children's bicycle (toy) expos have been held, with a total transaction value of more than 40 billion yuan, forming a virtuous circle of "industry supporting exhibitions and exhibitions promoting industry". Express logistics affects the whole country. It has 34 large-scale warehousing enterprises with an annual throughput of more than 100,000 tons, 30 well-known express delivery companies, nearly 150 logistics enterprises and stations related to bicycles and baby carriages, involving more than 70 freight dedicated lines in Tianjin and Guangdong.
