SCE Online exhibition hall ready for visitors

The long-awaited Online Exhibition Hall of the Smart China Expo Online 2020 (SCE OL 2020) is now officially opened to the public as the opening ceremony of the expo was held on Sept 15. People can explore all the exhibitions on the official website, the official mobile APP, and social media platforms like WeChat and Weibo.

This year's exhibitions are being held virtually, with the official website being the main entrance portal. The Online Exhibition Hall has six virtual exhibition areas, namely the Chongqing Online section, the Smart Products section, the Smart Manufacturing section, the Smart Applications section, the Smart Technologies section, and the Regional Cooperation section. In addition, two offline exhibition halls named Smart Manufacturing Powerhouse and Renowned Smart City set in Chongqing Lijia Intelligent Park are open for visitors. They focus on scene applications, interactive experiences and new technology development and showcase Chongqing's achievements in smart industries, smart manufacturing, and smart cities.

YouTubers invited by iChongqing experienced cutting-edge smart technology at the Chongqing International Media Center in Chongqing. "There is so much cool stuff going on in these halls," said Barret, a YouTuber.

A total of 551 international and domestic enterprises are to present their products and technologies on the platform. Three hundred and forty-eight are based outside Chongqing, 148 are foreign-funded enterprises, 48 are Fortune 500 companies, and 57 are top 500 Chinese companies.

Online Chongqing Exhibition Area

The Online Chongqing section has two subsidiary exhibition centers, namely the Smart Manufacturing Center and the Smart City Center. The former aims to display the city's achievements in creating a smart manufacturing hub featuring live applications, interactive experience, and new technologies, with a focus on its three aspects of industrial internet, industrial transformation, and smart applications. The latter demonstrates the wisdom of the city and its people from the perspectives of the past, the present, and the future.

Smart Products Exhibition Area

The Smart Products section presents the most cutting-edge products and technologies in such fields as integrated circuits, LCD panels, smart terminals, new energy, core smart vehicle components, the internet of things, smart equipment, and intelligent sensors.

Smart Manufacturing Exhibition Area

The Smart Manufacturing section presents the latest solutions of industry leaders and key SOEs for digital workshops, smart factories, industrial internet platforms, 5G communications, machine visualization, and integrated manufacturing systems.

Smart Application Exhibition Area

The Smart Application section presents the various applications and scenarios of smart technologies in such industries as block chains, space-based internet, transportation, agriculture, e-commerce, tourism, medical care, emergency management, telecommunications, cyber security, and other smart areas.

Smart Technologies Exhibition Area

The Smart Technologies section presents the key research findings, innovation technologies, and system solutions of domestic and overseas universities and institutions that are developing Big Data Intelligence.

Regional Cooperation Exhibition Area

The Regional Cooperation section presents the Big Data Intelligence development in the city's key opening-up counties and districts, the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle area, the Yangtze River Economic Belt area, the Belt and Road countries and the city's international sister cities, as well as the latest achievements of companies along the China Railway Express (Yuxinou) route and the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor in western China.
