Venue construction in full swing for Hangzhou Asian Games
The construction of sporting venues for the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games has been ahead of schedule, with the amount of work completed surpassing the planned half-yearly goals as of the end of June.
The first batch of venues are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2020. These venues include the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Centre, the Dragon Sports Centre and the Asian Games Sailing Centre.
About 80 percent of the construction of the main stadium and the indoor swimming pool in the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Centre has already been completed. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]

The second batch of venues for the Hangzhou Asian Games is also expected to be completed by the end of 2020. These locations include the stadium in Wenzhou Sports Centre, the Lin'an Culture and Sports Exhibition Centre and the stadium in Jinhua Sports Centre.
The construction of the Baseball-Softball Centre recently started in end-June.
