All-for-one tourism in Tonglu

All-for-one tourism was first presented in the report of the 13th session of the Tonglu People's Congress as a way of dividing the entire county including towns and villages into scenic areas to develop a beautiful, low-carbon, cultural, open and happy Tonglu.

May, 2012

The implementation suggestions on overall construction of scenic Tonglu were issued by the county government. They called for in-depth promotion of the construction of the most charming towns and beautiful villages to make Tonglu livable and travel-worthy.

July, 2012

The government regarded the development of the tourism industry as the county's leading economic pillar and set a goal of being an all-for-one tourism pilot county.

September, 2012

The Zhejiang provincial government approved the establishment of the Tonglu Fuchun River Slow Life Area (Luci village), the first such area in the province.  

January, 2013

The Zhejiang provincial government approved Tonglu as a provincial pilot county for specific reform of all-for-on tourism.

The county government proposed to cultivate new industry formats of health care, medical tourism and rural tourism, and hold events such as the China Longevity Town Forum and national rural travel season to promote all-for-one tourism in Tonglu.

April, 2013

The implementation plan and three-year action plan of all-for-one tourism construction in Tonglu were announced.

May, 2013

The preferential policy suggestion to support all-for-one tourism construction with special funds was issued.

Jan 22, 2014

At the third Session of the 15th People's Congress of Tonglu County, it was proposed to develop tertiary industry, push forward tourism industry development and advance all-for-one tourism construction. Aiming to achieve the goal of ten million tourists and 10 billion yuan ($1.4 billion) revenue, the proposal attached great importance to intelligent tourism development through establishing a tourism industry operation center and developing an intelligent travel guide system.

October, 2014

The implementation suggestion on promoting construction of village scenic areas was issued by the Tonglu county government. It requires making full use of rural resources to push forward construction of villages to scenic area standards, accelerating the construction of all-for-one tourism and coordinating development of urban and rural areas. By February 2016, one village scenic area at the 4A-level, one at the 3A-level and 12 at the 2A-level had been developed.

December, 2015

An implementation suggestion on transformation and upgrading of homestay economy was issued by the county government, requiring further transformation of ecological resource advantages and achievements in beautiful village construction.

January, 2016

To build scenic areas throughout the entire county the county government decided to deepen all-for-one tourism construction, accelerate the 5A-level ranking of the Fuchun River scenic area and develop village scenic areas.
