"It is all very important for cities together to share ideas and share best practice. Cities across the globe face common challenges. The challenges some are very complex and require very well-thought and complex solutions. Some cities are far more advanced than others and so a gathering like this allows to share ideas and share all different approaches to solving complex problems, and also deepen relationships, and in the end some work to establish trading and business ties."
"So we are exploring a sister-city relationship with Yantai which is a coastal city similar to Kingston which is a coastal city."
"Kingston is also posturing to become a destination city and Yantai is known for a tourism city, so there are many things we can learn and also we want to deepen and open opportunities which is expected to be business opportunities and also just opportunities for trade and also the movement of people. We certainly would like more Chinese from Yantai to visit the city of Kingston and all we should be a boost of tourism. And also the same, residents of Kingston can visit Yantai."
