Post-90s becomes new strength in patent agent exam

The 2019 national qualification examination for patent agents will be held simultaneously in 30 cities in China from Nov 2 to 3. Eleven testing spots will be set up in the city, according to Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration (SIPA).
Half of the candidates are from the post-90s generation. Shanghai candidates accounted for 60 percent, up 3.7 percent from the previous year, according to SIPA.
Additionally, candidates with master's degrees or above account for 40 percent of candidates, those with bachelor's degrees account for 50 percent, and the rest are with college degrees.
