On Sunday, Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology in Shaanxi, China, held a captivating bronze script calligraphy exhibition, aiming to showcase traditional Chinese culture globally.
The event, themed "the Achievements of Qiu Zongkang's Semiotic Bronze Script," took place at the Jia Pingwa Literature and Art Museum on campus.
Qiu Zongkang, vice chairman of the Shaanxi Calligraphers Association, highlighted the spiritual connections between the Book of Changes and bronze calligraphy, seeking to revive ancient Dazhuan inscriptions and engage modern audiences.
Mu Nan, director of the museum, emphasized the exhibition's multidimensional approach to reinterpreting classics through documentaries, ink-colored literature, and original manuscripts, offering a comprehensive exploration.
Xu Ziyue, the exhibition's representative, announced plans for national lectures on the bronze script I Ching at universities in key cities, aiming to promote Chinese culture globally and strengthen cultural confidence.
Bronze script, originating in the Shang Dynasty, and the I Ching, an ancient Chinese classic, hold significant cultural value and wisdom.
