Forum on Yellow Emperor culture kicks off in Xi'an

An academic forum themed on the culture of the Yellow Emperor, a legendary ancestor of the Chinese nation, kicked off in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, on April 2.

Hosted by Northwest University and the Yellow Emperor Mausoleum Foundation, the forum invited over 60 experts and scholars to engage in in-depth discussions and exchanges on three main topics: "The Yellow Emperor and Yellow Emperor Culture", "Cultural Inheritance and Innovation", and "The Development of Chinese Civilization".

Through group discussions and presentations, these experts and scholars collectively explored the influence of Yellow Emperor culture on the development of Chinese civilization. They also discussed related cultural exchange and mutual learning opportunities.

They analyzed the achievements, characteristics, and values of successive Chinese scholars in inheriting and developing Yellow Emperor culture, revealing its value in talent cultivation and cultural development in the new era.

Furthermore, the awarding ceremony for the second Yellow Emperor Culture Research Achievement Award was held at the event, with 15 projects receiving recognition. This injected new impetus into the in-depth research and development of Yellow Emperor culture.
