On April 14, the Sheng International Education Public Welfare Fund of the China Overseas-Education Scholars Development Foundation (COSDF) held a seminar on international talent business demand and growth environment, in Beijing, at which discussions were held on topics such as the demand for and challenges of enterprises attracting international talents, as well as international talent training and development.

In his opening remarks, Zhuang Liang, vice chairman and secretary-general of the COSDF, stated that the COSDF focuses on implementing the strategy of building a strong talent country in the new era, and consolidates and integrates talent resources at home and abroad. It explores multi-dimensional approaches to promote international talent exchanges, training, and introductions, and contributes to the construction of important talent centers and innovation hubs across the world.

Zhuang pointed out that efforts should be made to combine the introduction of high-end talents with talent cultivation and utilization, and continuously optimize the talent structure; to focus on serving enterprises as a priority, and providing employment-oriented services for overseas students; to always adhere to providing high-quality services, building better communication bridges between enterprises and international talents, enhancing the comprehensive employment capabilities and competitiveness of international students, improving the matching between international talent's comprehensive employment capabilities and corporate positions, and striving to provide intimate services for employers and international talents.
Xiao Rui, director of the COSDF Sheng International Education Public Welfare Fund, stated that the fund will actively integrate high-quality resources at home and abroad, and build a platform for precise connection and mutual development between domestic enterprises and international talents, providing effective channels for domestic enterprises to further expand their international business.

During the seminar, the COSDF signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China International Intellectech Co.,Ltd.. In the future, the two sides will carry out all-round cooperation in international talent training and employment guidance, better connect enterprises and international talents, jointly promote the internationalization of talent cultivation and development, and build an ecosystem for international talent cultivation.

The seminar also included a roundtable forum, where invited guests discussed how to cultivate, attract, retain, and manage international talents to meet the challenges and opportunities of the globalized market.

Experts and scholars at the seminar reached a consensus on expanding employment opportunities for international talents, strengthening employment guidance for international talents, and enhancing targeted talent training for enterprises. All parties agreed to promoting diversified education and training, reshaping international perspectives, and improving innovative collaborative abilities; prioritizing career planning and workplace experience in the process of international talent training; making full use of China's advantages in the internet field to establish a systematic international talent big data system, improving the matching degree between enterprises and international talents, and actively creating demand in third-party markets.
