A Chinese semiconductor 3D integrated manufacturing industry alliance was recently established at the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China) in Wuhan, capital of Central China's Hubei province.

The first plenary meeting of the alliance's members was also held.

The alliance was formed by Wuhan Xinxin Semiconductor Manufacturing Co Ltd and received support from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the governments of Hubei and Wuhan, and Optics Valley of China.

Nearly 100 representatives from the aforementioned organizations participated in the inauguration ceremony.

The non-profit alliance will be involved in structural design, manufacturing and package processing, special materials, simulation test verification, and the development of 3D semiconductor chips and systems.
