Antibody mediated rejection is one of the most important risk factors for the long-term survival of transplanted kidneys. The main reason for this rejection is the production of donor-specific antibodies (DSA) and consequent irreversible damage to the transplanted organ.
DSA is considered to be one of the most critical detection indicators to predict the occurrence of rejection after transplantation.
In order to serve the vast number of transplant patients, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University has introduced relevant equipment and supporting facilities.
It is the first hospital in Chongqing able to carry out detection of donor specific antibodies before and after transplantation.
