Deputy director Zhou meets with Lars Eskild Jensen, royal Danish consul general in Chongqing

On Oct 8, Zhou Lin, deputy director and member of the CPC committee of Chongqing Municipal Health Commission, met with Lars Eskild Jensen, the royal Danish consul general in Chongqing. 

Zhou briefed Jensen on the development and reform of Chongqing's healthcare situation. He said that there are bright prospects for healthcare cooperation between China and Denmark, with the two sides carrying out exchanges in fields such as prevention and control of chronic diseases and medical research and development. 

Jensen thanked Zhou for the warm reception from Chongqing, and expressed the hope that Denmark would expand exchanges and cooperation with the city in the fields of diabetes prevention, mental health and tobacco control. He also encouraged delegations from Chongqing Municipal Health Commission to visit Denmark. 

At the meeting, the two sides also conducted in-depth exchanges on the cooperation project regarding the topic of "city changes diabetes".
