Zhou Lin, deputy director of the Chongqing Municipal Health Commission, met with a delegation led by Natalya Bojarskaja from the General Directorate of Health of the Minsk Oblast of Belarus on March 22.

Zhou briefed the delegation on the development and reform of Chongqing's healthcare system and expressed the willingness of the Chongqing Municipal Health Commission to conduct health-related exchanges and cooperation with the Minsk region for common growth.

Bojarskaja thanked Zhou for the warm reception and said she hoped to carry out personnel exchanges and technical cooperation with Chongqing in the fields of traditional Chinese medicine, medical education and children's medicine.

The two sides agreed to treat the meeting as an opportunity to further enhance future contacts, and establish friendly cooperative relations and specific cooperative projects.

Officials from the commission's departments for medical administration, planning and development, international cooperation, and traditional Chinese medicine as well as Chongqing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital attended the meeting. 

The delegation also visited the Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University and the Chongqing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.
