Liangjiang to launch new wetland park

Construction has begun on the Lujia Gully wetland ecological restoration project in Liangjiang New Area, with the park scheduled to open in early 2027.

The 1.6-kilometer park will serve as an urban ecological wetland, integrating wetland conservation, scenic viewing, educational opportunities, and recreational activities.

"The project aims to enhance water quality in the Lujia Gully watershed and improve the ecological environment in Longxing area of Longsheng New City. This will facilitate its transformation into a high-quality model residential area," said Liu Jiang, the project leader.

The project also seeks to boost urban quality, upgrade functional facilities, and foster the integrated development of industry, urban living, and landscape.
