Histar Link (Liangjiang) Aerospace Co, a subsidiary of Histar Link Technology (Shenzhen) Co, has commenced operations in Liangjiang New Area. As a leader in satellite laser communication, the company focuses on developing high-capacity laser terminals and ground-based optical stations to enhance satellite interconnectivity and invigorate the regional aerospace industry.

Histar Link is uniquely positioned in China as the only fully self-developed supply chain manufacturer and high-speed satellite internet data service provider. Its technology is used in satellite constellations like the "Three-Body Constellation" and "Nebula Constellation".

Histar Link offers communication speeds ranging from 100 Mbps to 100 Gbps. It is the only company in China with over 10 operational in-orbit links and has achieved a self-development rate of 65 percent to 75 percent, helping lower terminal costs.

The company is advancing acquisition, tracking, and pointing (ATP) technology for precise satellite alignment over distances of up to 5,000 kilometers, ensuring stable communication links.

Gao Feng, director of Hi Lab at Histar Link, noted that a major advantage of laser communication is its unrestricted use of the laser spectrum, unlike the limited resources available for radio frequencies. The technology allows for secure, point-to-point information transfer.

The Liangjiang facility will focus on producing high-capacity satellite laser communication terminals, with plans for two production lines capable of manufacturing 400 units annually, addressing the commercial aerospace laser payload industry gap in Chongqing and supporting the region's aerospace ecosystem.

It will also develop ground-based optical stations with large-aperture structures to support space-to-ground links and accommodate 100 Gbps communication rates.
