Liangjiang New Area hosted a seminar on the transformation of technological achievements in new power systems on Dec 22, accompanied by a signing ceremony, where the China Energy Research Society (CERS), Chongqing University's School of Electrical Engineering, and the Mingyue Lake Laboratory each signed agreements with the State Grid (Chongqing) Technology Innovation Industrial Park.

These agreements are designed to enhance collaborative innovation and streamline the process of transitioning high-quality research from academic and research institutions into industrial applications.

The industrial park will continue to integrate resources such as policy, technology, capital, and market dynamics, aiming to merge innovation, industry, funding, and talent, and to support Chongqing's evolution into a hub for technological innovation and the transformation of achievements in new power systems.

The agreement between CERS and the industrial park focuses on accelerating the construction of new power systems and supporting a sustainable energy transition. This partnership targets the entire industrial ecosystem, spanning R&D, incubation, testing, and production in sectors such as high-end power equipment and energy storage solutions.

Chongqing University and the industrial park will collaborate on initiatives in industry-academia-research innovation, technology transfer, joint talent training and exchange, market promotion, and project collaboration.

They plan to establish joint working groups and develop information-sharing mechanisms to advance these initiatives, thereby supporting the green and low-carbon energy transition and promoting high-quality industrial development.

Mingyue Lake Laboratory and the industrial park will collaborate on innovation, technology transfer, joint talent training and exchange, and multi-sector market promotion and project cooperation, particularly in areas such as energy storage materials and light alloys.
