To accelerate the advancement of the new-generation electronic information manufacturing industry, Liangjiang New Area in Southwest China's Chongqing municipality recently launched the "Chongqing Liangjiang New Area action plan for the upgrading and enhancement of the new-generation electronic information manufacturing industry (2024-27)".

According to the plan, Liangjiang will focus on five main areas to achieve its targets: industry quality improvement, targeted cultivation, innovation, application expansion, and environmental optimization.

To improve industry quality, Liangjiang will expand the scale of the new-type display industry, enhance the technological level of the integrated circuit industry, and promote the diversified development of the smart terminal industry.

For targeted cultivation, Liangjiang will establish a database for core enterprises and key projects, promote the implementation of an investment attraction mechanism, and improve collaborative mechanisms.

To promote innovation, the area will encourage companies to establish national and municipal innovation platforms and support the establishment of enterprise technology centers at the municipal and national levels.

To expand applications, it will encourage integrated circuit design companies, comprehensive manufacturing enterprises, and vehicle manufacturers to engage in in-depth cooperation in areas such as automotive electronics and vehicle computing power, achieving cross-industry integration and application.

To optimize the environment, Liangjiang will strengthen the cultivation of diverse talent, increase financial support, and develop an industrial service system.
